From 1900 today we have a Snow Advisory 3-5 inches. The advisory actually warns about things such as travel difficulties, limited visibility and snow covered roads. All courtesy of an Alberta Clipper being hauled down to us by the Jet Stream

As of 0745 baro=1038 and rising. By 1315 it was down to 1036 and on a falling trend.

I'd expect snow this afternoon.

& by 1830 it's is for sure snowing. Light SE wind and cold. The new snow has established itself on the landscape.

Weather Journal 5 March

20 degrees with a baro of 1028 MB as of 1530 eastern. Tired of walking into the chill north wind (actually NNW) at 21 with gusts to 30.

Baro is rising and it is largely clear, perhaps leading to some of the cold- no clouds to keep us warm. High pressure to the north is correctly termed 'Arctic'.

Finally keep in mind wave height forecasts are for 'ice free areas'.

What is it that connects you to your knowledge?

Love?

For me observing weather: be it back pain from shoveling hefty snow or oddly seeing twigs
scattered on snow. Connects me to change.

Work?

I gain a sense of achievement: clinicals are kaput!

Water?

Like a winter rain forest of snow melting off trees.

Gratitude?

It's not 59° thermometer is in the sun. Still walking w/ wind in a clear area soft snow can be kicked
away.

TV?

Knife and multi tool currently stagnant as signs of adventure and improvisation.

Time to think of melting out of stagnation.
