Coach McCarthy quote: "I think as a whole our football team came back at a very high level of conditioning."
More on the conditioning drill: players have to run the width of the field and back - a combined 106 yards - eight times, completing each sprint in less than 20 seconds.
Favre gone due to family death, Rogers takes over.
Running Back: Injuiries, uncertaines, sickness, a Pope (3rd all time Bowling Green Rusher) the answer?

"Defensive tackles Ryan Pickett and Johnny Jolly, did not pass the running test that's part of every player's pre-camp physical on Friday, so their conditioning is not good enough for them to practice and they are day-to-day." The running test was not a distance one, but a sprint based effort.
Pickett was a starter last year after free agenting over from the Rams while Jolly was a 6th round pick who played in only 6 games.
TE Humphery broke his fibula and will be out for up to a month.
