Typically baseball fans follow the batting title race. For 2009 I'll go new wave and post updates on the league leaders in on base percentage.

The Red Sox Jason Bay has passed teammate Kevin Youkilis to take the ML lead at .523. Bays best OBP year was .402 with the Pirates in 2005. The Dodger Manny Ramirez is the NL leader at .494. Manny has been a league leader in OBP 3 times.
