Michigan Budget

Michigan is in a budget crisis, a turning point etc. Governor Granholm has proposed the dread tax increase. Per usual the GOP opposes this.

In general I favor some tax increases. Keeping things fact based look at the graph below. State revenue is not keeping up. No business or person could keep things going on a basis such as below. I think the facts show that just to keep things as is we need to raise revenue and tax increases are a fact based necessity regardless of your ideology.
