Here's the essence of U of Michigan football: they don't meet expectations and when they don't they move them lower.
At the start of the season they were a top 5 team. 2 losses and it was 'big 10' title time. Then a loss to Wisconsin without their best player and we'll hear how if we just beat Ohio State it will be a good year. And if they lose to Ohio State there will be something like if we just win the bowl....
