In 2008 I will blog on items found in the World Almanac. This is a yearly Christmas gift I have grown to cherish. M thru F you will read items that maybe chronological, topical or random.
With snow falling we turn to P. 288. Here it says that a blizzard warning occurs when there are winds of 35 mph+ and enough falling or blowing snow to reduce visibility to less than 1/4 mile for at least 3 hours.
