World Almanac Blog French Guiana

In 2008 I will blog on items found in the World Almanac. This is a yearly Christmas gift I have grown to cherish. M thru F you will read items that maybe chronological, topical or random.

Reading a book that has the author in French Guiana. P. 773 tells us that French Guiana is an overseas department of France. Population of 203,321. European Space Agency has a launching center there and shrimp fishing is a key industry. It is located on the NE coast of South America between Suriname and Brazil.
