In 2008 I will blog on items found in the World Almanac. This is a yearly Christmas gift I have grown to cherish. M thru F you will read items that maybe chronological, topical or random.
On P.93 an interesting breakdown of fish caught by ocean. In 1990 23,195,275 metric tons were caught in the Atlantic Ocean. In 2005 this figure was up to 23,700,863. Compare this to the Pacific Ocean numbers of 52,590,922 and 68,004,136.
