Today is the birthday of author Phillip Roth born in Newark NJ in 1933. He has authored 26 novels and won numerous awards including: PEN/Faulkner award, Pulitzer Prize and the WH Smith Literary Award. I'm a Roth reader having most recently purchased: The Professor of Desire and The Anatomy Lesson
