The World Almanac is a quintessential reference source. In this blog M-F I find interesting nuggets in the 'WA' and add details via the web.
At 0148 today the Vernal Equinox occurred. This signifies the start of spring which will last until the Summer Solstice on 20 June (P.318). Equinox means that world wide day and night are approximately equal in length. Today Muskegon's length of day will be 12 hours 10 minutes while in Hobart Tasmania the figure is 12 hours 9 minutes.
