This portion of the blog is where I try to learn a little bit. I start with my World Almanac, find a topic and what the books has and then search the 'net to add infobits to my knowledge base.
Ron Brown who served as Bill Clinton's 1st Secretary of Commerce dies this day in 1996 (P. 430). Brown died in a plane crash while on a trade mission in Croatia. He was the 1st African American to serve as Secretary of Commerce and also chairman of the Democratic Party.
