OBP 4.14

Typically baseball fans follow the batting title race. For 2009 I'll go new wave and post updates on the league leaders in on base percentage.

Adam Dunn leads the big leagues with an OBP of .576.

Kevin Youklis leads the AL @ .567.

Youkilis has more hits, Dunn more BB's.

Dunn's nationals are off tonite while Youkilis' Red Sox play a late game at Oakland. He faces a starting pitcher he has faced 2 with 1 hit/home run.

In 2008 Chipper Jones' .470 topped the NL, Dunn was 9th. Milton Bradley had the AL's top OBP while Youkilis was 6th.
