Typically baseball fans follow the batting title race. For 2009 I'll go new wave and post updates on the league leaders in on base percentage.
With 2 hits and 3 walks Adam Dunn raised his OBP to a league leading .549. Tigers 1b Miguel Cabrerra reached base 3 times, scored 3 runs and leads the AL OBP race at .538. Former leader Kevin Youkilis is at .537 having reached base in all but one game this past week. The Giants Fred Lewis is 2nd in the NL.

In 2008 Chipper Jones topped the NL, and Milton Bradley had the AL's top OBP.
