In 2008 I will blog on items found in the World Almanac. This is a yearly Christmas gift I have grown to cherish. M thru F you will read items that maybe chronological, topical or random.
On P. 388 in the list of associations and societies the Colonial Dames XVII Century, Natl. Soc. are found. To join "Documentary proof of an ancestor's service prior to 1701 is required." An ancestor who was a colonial governor, signer of the Mayflower compact etc. Retroactively elite, eh?
